Scottish William IV Flame Mahogany Sideboard
Scottish William IV Flame Mahogany Pedestal Sideboard
This a super flame mahogany pedestal sideboard with a drop centre and well carved back. There are three frieze drawers and the pedestals each have panelled doors with beaded moulding and flanked by reeded and turned columns. Each pedestal houses a shelf and a deep cellarette drawer and the pedestal drawers have a concealed spring ‘catch’ to the underside. There are locks to the doors but we do not have a key.
This is in nice condition for it’s age, the beading, columns and back are all nice and crisply carved and it has developed a nice colour and patina with slight fading/mellowing to the front. There are the usual drying lines to the top veneers and the left side is dry.
Please contact me for questions, more images or a delivery cost.
The overall dimensions at the largest points are approximately
Width 217.5cm (85 1/2in)
Depth 68.5cm (27in)
Height 129.5cm (51in)
For transportation and moving this sideboard can be taken apart.
Delivery can be arranged to most UK mainland destinations at no extra cost.
