Fantastic Scottish drumhead longcase clock from the fabulous Victorian era. The drumhead has beautifully carved decoration with a painted 13" dial. Its dial with roman numerals around the edge has two additional dials in the centre for seconds and date. Its arched glazed front and sides ensure there is plenty of light coming in which maximises the view of the magnificent brass weights. The eight day movement has been fully serviced and is in full working order. Like all antiques there are the odd age-related marks but that does not diminish the outstanding quality of this statement item.
