good quality mahogany Scottish grandfather antique clock by Charles Shedden, Perth, circa 1820.
The pointed hood with three finials and turned column supports, painted face with subsidiary seconds and date dials, unusual lyre shaped case with carved detail and flame mahogany bow front door and moulded panels, shaped apron and bracket feet.
the eight day movement strikes the hour on a bell.
this really is a very handsome clock in good working order and is not done justice by the photographs.
