River Landscape Oil Painting Wild Ponies Watering
This is a beautifully executed river landscape painting on board depicting wild ponies watering by a rivers edge.
A very detailed landscape where the ponies are particularly well painted.
The work has been painted around the early 20th. Century.
The painting takes the viewer to a quiet stretch of river, where three ponies are on the opposite bank.
There is a grey, a bay and a skewbald. There are waterlillies in flower at the sides of the river, a coot rounding up its three chicks in the centre and even a swallow sweeping low over the water catching insects.
Unfortunately, we can offer no biographical information on this artist, but they have managed to capture their subject very well.
FRAMED MEASUREMENTS
Height 21.5 Inches ( 55 cm )
Width 28 Inches ( 71 cm )
CONDITION
Very Good Order Throughout.
The surface is clean and there is no craquelure or paint loss.
FRAME
The painting is newly framed in a 3" ornate frame and will be supplied wired and ready to hang.
MEDIUM: Oil on board.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt if the item is found to have been misdescribed and the purchaser may be liable for the return costs subject to reasons for return.
