Ridgway Porcelain Cake / Tea Plate Pattern 2/1620
A large Ridgway porcelain slightly dished bread / cake plate from a Regency period tea service, c.1825, in pattern 2/1620. A gadrooned type moulded rim picked out in gilt, and a a shaped underglaze mazarine blue border reserving a large white central area finely painted with garden flowers in bright enamels. The framing of the reserve with rich gilt edging and a gilt painted diaper pattern over the blue ground. Pattern number painted to the reverse.
It measures 23cm (9") wide and 3.2cm (1 1/4") high.
In excellent condition with only very minor handling wear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
