This convertible powder compact is suitable for modern solid / pressed face powders or as a handbag mirror. A gleaming gilt Stratton " Mini-Convertible " powder compact. The lid is decorated with gilt highly stylized floral motifs. The compact is in excellent condition. There isn't any loss of design. The lid opens to reveal a mirror which gives a good and accurate reflection. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The powder well is lined with a pristine waxed paper insert. The base is decorated with a design the makers named the " Woven effect " & signed " Stratton ENGLAND ". This powder compact measures 3 " & weighs 71.5 grams. Free lavishly illustrated history of this piece included.
