A REGULATOR LONGCASE CLOCK Circa 1860
A small Regulator longcase clock. Choice flame mahogany veneers to the case with ebonised banded inlays. An arched hood pediment with brass side bezel locking mechanism. A brass bezel surround to the 12" painted dial. Blued steel hands and seconds dial and signed 'F.J.B'. A precision 8-day duration timepiece mechanism with dead-beat escapement and maintaining power. A wooden rod pendulum with cylinder bob.
