A fine and rare Regency Period mahogany and satinwood strung breakfront secretaire wardrobe press. The centre doors open to reveal the original trays with satinwood stringing to the fronts. With secretaire drawer and three long graduated drawers below, the secretaire with red baize, lift flaps, pen trays and bottle recesses. The long doors to either side opening to reveal 45.5cm (18in) internal depth of hanging space with front to back extending rails and a deep storage drawer to the right side, the whole supported on a plinth base.
