A glorious pair of matching Art Deco Wardrobes, dating to the 1930s, in a lovely warm blonde sycamore with the tiniest of line inlay to the tops of the doors and sides. Unbelievably hard to find as a matching pair, both being identical in height, width and depth, literally a matching pair. The added beauty of these particular wardrobes is that they completely flat pack and reassemble easily and firmly, each taking roughly 10 mins to assemble or disassemble and making them perfect for a difficult staircase or rooms where access is tricky. The first wardrobe consists of full hanging with a substantial chrome rail fitted, it should be noted that the internal depth is excellent for modern hangers with a depth of over 19”. The second wardrobe has half hanging with useful shelf above and 4 adjustable shelves to the left hand side. Raised on a striking Macassar plynth which is round shouldered they boast matching Macassar large cylindrical handles. Provided with original working locks and keys. Lined in a pale sycamore.
These are a delight.
The cornice tops are flat and polished allowing for either decorative items to be displayed or suitcases etc.
