Regency Chinoiserie Work Or Sewing Table
A very beautiful and rare Regency chinoiserie work table or sewing table with an incredible interior and original silk sewing bag.
Very decorative piece and the detail to the chinoiserie is second to none throughout the piece and standing on the raised platform base by three hair feet.
Some previous repairs to the supporting stretcher, but it is all stable and looking fantastic.

30 3/4” or 78cm high
20” or 51cm wide
14” or 35.5cm deep Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
