A mahogany bracket antique clock dating to the late Regency Period. It has an arch top case, with boxwood edging and adjustable brass ball feet and a front panel with embellished brass inlay. The convex painted enamel dial has a deep convex glass and is signed by the original makers, Martin and Baskell of Cheltenham. It has an 8 day fusee pendulum movement with an engraved backplate and pendulum. Martin and Baskell are listed as working in the first half of the 19th Century and after 1840 became known as Martin and Basket

Current Condition
