A lovely Worcester porcelain pickle dish, moulded as a scallop shell, finely painted in the two-peony rock bird pattern, c.1754-1760. Workman's mark to the base.

It measures 11cm (4 3/8") by 9.3cm (3 5/8) wide and 2.8cm (1 1/8") high.

In very good condition: there are three small shallow surface chips to the rim and a nick to the reverse. They are minimally detracting as can be seen. Very minor handling wear and no running to the design, a very neatly executed example. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
