Superb Rare Antique Sitzendorf Frog Band Porcelain Drummer
The Frog has a lovely face and is dressed in eighteenth century clothing.
The colours on the clothing are superb. Pink waistcoat with white hair.
A really cheeky looking figure. Fabulous frogs legs coming out from under the large drum, he also has symbols in the other hand.
I have never seen the frog band before, photographs don't do him justice.
Carries the underglaze mark for Sitzendorf Germany alongside an impressed number.
Seems in perfect condition, slightest of wear but please see all pictures.
