A rare and probably unique wooden dial Georgian wall antique clock. A 13" convex wooden dial with lovely patina and a well painted pheasant. Signed 'E.D Herbert Pugh 1818' and original brass hands. A cast brass bezel with convex glass. A mahogany case with early design of slim metal pegs and the original winding key. A well made 8-day duration fusee timepiece mechanism.

The name Herbert Pugh may be the maker or the original owners name and is dated 1818. This came from a private collection and we sold it around 12 years ago and recently had the oppourtunity to purchase it again.

Height/Width 16 1/2 " / 42 cms Depth 6 " / 15 cms.
