A wonderful and rare 18th century chip carved oak box decorated to all sides with geometric chip carving and delightful folk scene of a horse ploughing a field to the underside of lid. Such a remarkable and charming early piece. The iron hinges have been replaced with brass hinges and lock. The underside chip carved with tree of life and dated 1758. All major credit and debit cards accepted.
