This is a fantastic Antique Mahogany Writing Slope with Brass edging, which has a label to the inside which states “To Mr. Thomas Christie from his friends at the Elgin Coulant Office 13th March 1875”. To the inside are two inkwells, which are not matching and a panel that hides 3 secret drawers. Please note there’s no key for the lock.

It is in good condition but does exhibit some age-related wear and is of a large size measuring approximately 50cm wide, 18cm high and 25cm deep.
