Fabulous! - This is a rare and special find - probably ITALIAN, it is a wonderful, bright cut, ornate, continental Silver powder compact, marked for silver in a couple of places, but hallmarks are not distinct. A most unusual form in the shape of a hand mirror, the handle conceals a lipstick dispenser which has a ruby red oval stone. Measuring c. 5.5" inch long, all clasps and hinges are in good order, the mirror lifts to reveal the powder well, which still contains the original shaped puff - a very attractive piece in the nicest of order. Dating c. 1910-20 this little beauty is just a little bit special, a quality vintage piece that is sure to delight!.
