Rare Model Victorian Ashworth Tea Pot.
The body of the tea pot is of rectangular shape with the lid also being rectangular & rather than lifting off this lid slides backwards.Decorated on the body in Blue & White with the lid having a Crown as a handle with Gilt decoration.
Unfortunately the tea pot has had a hard life with the body having one large & one small crack & a few odd chibbles to the spout & rim. The rareness of this item makes this more than acceptable.
The base has an impressed mark for Ashworth & a Triangular date mark. Circa 1862 to 1880
Condition as described.
