This is a rare & special find - two brooches depicting a couple in hats - with enamel and hand painted faces, they are adorable - so nice to find the pair still together - measuring c. 1" inch (2.4 cm) tall, both are in nice condition - very much in the "jelly belly" design, they date c. 1940 - pins are good and secure to the rear - set to gilt metal - absolutely superb! - If you love your costume antique jewellery and are looking for something just a little bit different, these little guys will certainly not disappoint!
They would make a wonderful, wild & wacky gift this Christmas for a special couple who has just about everything!.
