Charming and wearable antique.

A Victorian 15ct turquoise and diamond set brooch. The scallop-edge convex mount has a twist surround and further wirework decoration rubover-set with 4 round cabochon turquoises. A hemispherical raised bezel houses 6 oval cabochon turquoises which match well and are of good colour. To the centre is a star-shaped white metal mount (probably platinum) set a single small old-cut diamond. The closed back is marked 15ct. The pin, as is usual with brooches of this age, is silver - mid to late-19th Century - 2.4cm wide, 3.5 grams
I trade in small silver, jewellery and objets d'art. I sell primarily at antiques fairs and in cabinets in Christique Antique Centre in Dorking. I try to find unusual and interesting stock and like to keep turning it over, so I can buy more. Postage and packing are free within the UK - unless explicitly stated otherwise.
