Circa 1900. An exhibition quality mahogany Sheraton style inlaid rectangular occasional table. The top with oval panel of plum pudding mahogany, ebony string inlay and broad crossbanding, frieze with a full-length drawer, with further inlay marquetry in the center, with cast brass axe head drop handles. The inlay in the frieze continues around the table. Standing on four elegant square legs with string inlay on the facings, intersected by a shaped shelf, with an oval marquetry panel in the center and further string inlay, polished on all sides making it freestanding.
