A beautiful and quite unusual antique burr walnut leather top console / side table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1890-1910 period.

It is of fine quality and is a very handy size. This is unusual in that it is finished on both sides, with a single drawer on one side and two doors on the reverse. This means it could be used as a free standing item or if used against a wall, the hidden compartments are a useful hidden storage area. There are beautiful burr walnut grain patterns, high quality brass handles and a wonderful inset black leather top.

We have had this re-polished and re-leathered, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some extremely minor historical wear and patina remaining here and there beneath the polish.
