This little French writing table, dating from about 100 years ago is very pretty and is in very nice condition. Having been fitted with a new leather in the sliding top which has a 'Fleur de Lys' in the corners, this desk has lovely detail and attractive light relief carved detailing. The top has an unusual gallery which centres two banks of small drawers which have the original handles and are most useful for those bits and pieces which need keeping. There is a larger central drawer under the top to carry papers etc. The reeded legs have gallery rails running between them to add to the appeal. An unusual little item that looks great and is of use too. We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas. We now open by appointment, but we are often open Fridays and Saturdays, but cannot guarantee,( our sign will be out if passing ) it is worth ringing before coming.Tel 01565 874075
