Pretty & small Welsh 8 day Llanrwst oak clock
A small 8 day painted dial with arabic numerals, swan neck pediment over delicate applied inlay of fruitwood & mahogany. Oak case crossbanded in mahogany, even has original feet, weights & pendulum. The case typical of llanrwst, william was a later relative of the watkin owen family, reputed makers of the region which a book has been written. The movement serviced and is an excellent runner. A lovely example of the region and this type of cottage antique clock. Dimensions
