Circa 1880, carved walnut plate stand. Makers stamp on the back C Hindley & Sons, 134 Oxford St, London. Miles & Edwards were bought out by Charles Hindley & Sons in 1844, operating until 1892. Specialising in fabric, carpets, wallpaper and later antique furniture.
