Antique William IV Mahogany Torchere c.1830
A William IV mahogany torchere with the circular candle plate raised on a fluted column above a tripod base with incised decoration to the feet and a central turned pendant finial.
The underside of the candle plate bears a hand-carved inscription dated 1833, aligning closely with the form and decorative language of the stand.
Very good antique condition with light surface wear consistent with age. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place.
