We have for sale a rather lovely and very decorative earthenware display plate by the Burslem manufacturer Pinder Bourne and Co.

This striking plates is sumptuously decorated with wetland scene depicting silver birds and gold bull rushes in blue and white. The plate is marked to the reverse with the Pinder Bourne impressed mark and the pattern number 806 dating to around 1880.

The plate is 9.25 inches (23.5cm) in diameter and is in a good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs other than, some aging particularly to the back and the craqueler one would expect from a piece of Pinder Bourne earthenware of this period.
