A small, fine quality 8 day Longcase antique clock by Peter Nichols of Newport (Isle of Wight). 12”, break-arch brass dial with silvered chapter ring, name cartouche, calendar, and cast spandrels. Original blued steel hands throughout. Conventional weight driven 5 pillar movement striking the hours on a bell. The small, pretty mahogany case is typical of this maker (see the oak version we currently have).
