Pair of late Victorian Bo’ness pottery pugs by the Bridgeness factory in Barrowstouness Scotland c.1900. Standing 12″ tall, in a seated pose, originally designed to sit either side of a mantle piece they would make a fine pair of bookends. Original grey colour and shiny glaze (typical of Bo’ness wares), gilt highlights and glass eyes. Excellent condition.
