This is fine quality pair of Chinese watercolours of flowers on silk from the early to mid 20th century. Each carries Chinese characters and a red seal mark. These look like they have been painted from nature because of the level of detail and naturalism of the subject matter, and this sets them apart from many Chinese paintings of flowers which are more formulaic in appearance.

Dimensions: 36 x 29 cm. Please note that one painting is clearly in landscape format while the other, based on the position of the Chinese characters, is portrait.

Condition: The paintings are in good antique condition without damage. They would look very attractive framed.
