This pair of antique French style marble top chests have a great look & are also very versatile. They would work well as bedside chests or as lamp, side antique tables. The original marble tops have lovely colours & are perfect. These chests have a bombe shape on the fronts & sides. The wood is predominately Kingwood, with parquetry panels & fine inlays. They have nicely aged gilt bronze mounts, handles & feet. Please don't confused these with all the brand new fakes on the market. They do have some age & I would date them to around the 1920-30's period.
