A handsome pair of antique Georgian side chairs in elm. With shaped and carved bar backs, reeded sides and reeded top rails. With drop-in seats on turned legs united by cross stretchers. The drop-in seats have been newly recovered in a sand coloured brocade fabric with green and pink embroidered pattern. A lovely rich colour with a warm patina to the elm. Dating from circa 1820.

Solid and sturdy. Newly recovered over existing upholstery which was in good condition. A few old worm holes to the underside of the seat rail which has been treated with worm killer as a precaution.
