Truly magnificent to find a pair of these wonderful large Caviar serving spoons complete in their original Victorian presentation case.

The handles are made from English silver plate signed by the top-notch silversmith, James Dixon. They are also lucky enough to have an English design registration number on each piece which allows us date them to the year 1891. The front of the handles are beautifully cast incorporating a vacant cartouche to each surrounded with a decorative border.

The gorgeous bowls are made from Mother or Pearl shell with it's wonderful iridescent qualities and remaining in lovely condition.

Each server measures 9 3/4" in length x 3 1/2" wide. The case (wear commensurate with age) measures 11 1/2" x 7 3/8" x 1 1/2" deep.
