This is an elegant Cased Set of Six George V Silver Plate Serving Spoons. The spoons have round bowls, threaded stems and a harebell design around the blank cartouches at the tops of the stems. The box has a thin blue leater covering, with a cream satin lining inside the lid and a black satin and velvet tray holding the spoons.

There is no makers' mark on the spoons but they are stamped EPNS for silver plate and have a registered design number of 683942, which dates the original design to 1921 and confirms they are British made.

Condition is very good, with no dings or dents, no significant plate loss and just the superficial surface wear that you would expect with use and the passage of time. The box is a bit scuffed on the outside but the hinges and clasp are in good working order. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

Each spoon is 20.3cm long and 5.4cm across the bowl. The set of six, unboxed, weighs in at 380.7g and boxed up the set weighs 866g.
