Fabulous pair of late 19th.c. Cattle Scenery pattern ‘cache’ pots or planters c.1890 by the great Staffordshire Pottery Adams. Embossed detail to the lip and base and raised on three short legs with moulded shell detail. Lovely blue and white transfer pattern of cattle and donkeys in a bucolic countryside landscape. Further transfer pattern inside the lip. With a clear Adams Ironstone mark and stamp to the underside of both. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
