An interesting original watercolour on paper of an arcadian landscape that is possibly the falls at Tivoli, though if it is I think there is some poetic license. The painting is not signed or marked, but is well executed and is very attractive. The painting dates from the first half of the 19th Century probably around 1840.

The painting is offered mounted, the painting is 33cm x 23cm and the mount is 43.5cm x 34cm.
Condition

The condition is good. There is some light creasing to the paper especially in the sky area. There is some surface dirt or toning to the top of the paper. The colours are faded a little in the top half of the painting.

We have a 14 day return policy. We accept returns if item is not as described or generally you are not happy with the item, buyer to pay return postage. Full refund of purchase price on safe return minus postage costs. This is only available within 14 days of receipt of the item.
