Fine example of the classic late 19th.c. oak pedestal desk c.1890. Superb quality and a little larger than most with a 30″ x 48″ top with leather writing surface and thumb moulded edge over three drawers. Raised on twin pedestals with three drawers of graduated depth to the front plus, unusually, an 11″ deep cupboard to the rear of each. Solid oak sides and drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, fitted with a new leather skiver, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Keys supplied.
