An nice original solid oak country longcase clock of simple form. It has a flat top, hood side pillars and a long door. The 11" square dial has Arabic numerals and is signed by the maker Steadman of Godalming. It has a 30 hour duration moment that sounds the hours on a bell. Richard Stedman is listed as working 1828-39.

Current Condition
The case has been repolished, the dial blackwork has been restored preserving the original ground and oils. The movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.
