An oak coffer dating to around 1700. The coffer has good colour, which is exceptional in the lid, and geometric moulding to front with egg ‘boss’ carving to the front. It retains wire loop hinges, although the bottom ones are later, and the original till is still in place to the left side of the coffer. There are owner inventory marks of “PR” stamped to the left of the lock.
