very handsome oak longcase grandfather antique clock by Peter Sharp of Coldstream ( Scottish Borders ) circa 1820.
swan neck pediment hood and lovely simple painted face with floral and gilt detail, working date dial and subsidiary seconds dials, the case with nicely shaped door.
the eight day movement strikes the hour on a bell and is in good working order.
normal signs of age but overall this super clock is in good condition.
