I have pleasure in offering for sale a fine true Vienna wall antique clock .
The case is veneered in rosewood and strung with boxwood and is a very elegant design typical of the period.The carved cresting is present and the condition excellent having been carefully restored.
The 7 inch two piece enamel dial is indistinctly signed by the maker Kanofzk.... .The brass backed knife edge pendulum is in perfect condition as is the weight.
The 30 day duration weight driven movement is again of superb quality and functions perfectly having been recently restored.Month duration Vienna wall antique clocks are rare items indeed and the hand made movement is beautifully fine in construction.
The movement and dial are original to the case.This clock would date circa 1860

The overall condition is as good as you could expect from a clock of this age.
There are a couple of faint hairline cracks to the dial centre and the odd age related mark as all antiques bear but the clock is ready to go straight onto the wall.
Please don't confuse this clock with the factory made German clocks from the late 19th Century.This clock was all hand made by a master craftsman who produced .
