A fabulous mid Victorian pedestal sewing table with a large storage area work box adorned with a wonderful carved decorative panel and base, leading to a beautifully turned thick mahogany pedestal with four finley shaped and carved legs raised on original ceramic and brass castors.

The top lifts to reveal a fully fitted interior with various storage compartments, and a catch releases to lower a hinged slope leather top writing desk that falls into place.

Very good general condition with some age related wear including a minor aged split to the top and some surface wear to the legs as shown. Supplied with working key.
