Neat little mid 19th.c. walnut sewing table c.1870. Makes a useful drinks or lamp table with an 18″ diameter circular top with beautifully figured burr walnut veneers and a moulded edge. Opens to reveal a fitted interior with small compartments for threads and pins etc around a central well for embroidery. Raised on a tripod base with shaped and carved legs in solid walnut. Excellent condition with original paper and silk lining. Cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
