A high quality gorge case striking carriage antique clock by E. Maurice. An enamel dial with 'moon' blued steel hands and a brass dial edge masking. Concave and convex case mouldings and a large glass top aperture. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong with the original lever escapement. Numbered 1904. E.M & Co stamp to the backplate. Circa 1875. An original travelling box.
