A good quality antique Victorian mahogany writing table by Maple & Co dating from circa 1870. It features a writing surface above two drawers to the front, each with a pair of knob-handles and two dummy drawers to the back. It stands on beautifully turned legs capped with original brass casters. A well-proportioned piece, it is a good size, with plenty of wear and character to it.

Condition Report:
It is solid and sturdy. Lots of wear to the top: the writing surface has some scuffs and is worn and lifting in places. Some veneer missing to top (see photo) and a few old splits to top in places (solid). One of the knob handles is missing a collar. Other Wear and marks commensurate with age.
