Mahogany bow front gentleman's press by James Shoolbred & Co. The upper section having a moulded and dentil cornice with a blind fret work frieze above a pair of panelled mahogany bow front doors which open to reveal four internal slides. The lower section having an arrangement of two short over two long mahogany lined drawers each with brass oval stamped backplate handles, the whole raised on bracket feet, bearing the label James Shoolbred & Co circa 1900
