A profusely inlaid, mahogany, dressing table made by James Shoolbred of Tottenham Court Road, London. The company James Shoolbred and Co. started producing very high quality antique furniture in the 1870’s and continued through until they ceased trading in 1931. This dressing table, along with all of Shoolbreds antique furniture, shows some of the finest cabinet making skills there has been. The drawers have beautifully hand cut dovetails and have super quality, original, solid brass handles. The centre mirror is bevelled all round and is in good condition. Matching this dressing table, but advertised and priced separately, is a wardrobe with all the same attributes as the dressing table
