A handsome, generously proportioned, and superb quality mid-19th Century period mahogany and leather upholstered gentleman’s desk or library chair, having a ‘horseshoe’ shaped button upholstered back, above a plain bar splat flanked by uprights with carved bracket spandrels, and raised on turned front and swept rear legs with original brass castors.
