This Mahogany extending table from the late 1800s is in lovely condition with the timbers just French polished. It is a little unusual, being only 91cms / 3ft wide it would suit a narrower room than most, but still give the flexibility to seat 10 people at 233cms / almost 92inches long. It is a rich mahogany in colour and has a good grain as can be seen in the picture, all sitting on a well turned leg terminating in the usual castor as do windout and pull apart antique tables. This example has two leaves so can be used with two, one or indeed none at all. Overall this is a highly presentable dining table to seat 10 people but with a narrower than normal width. We do have a selection of others that are a normal 45/48inches wide that will also seat 10......... Also just into our store room we have a good Victorian extending table with two leaves on a flowing turned leg that is only 42inches wide. At just short of 90 inches it will seat 10 but its a good eight seater but with the rather rare narrower width.
