A lovely gold plated Stratton compact which dates to the 1970s. The lid features a stunning gilt design which is not at all common. This compact is ideal for use with Rimmel Natural Bronzer, Rimmel Stay Matte, Max Factor Creme Puff and all pressed foundation pans measuring between 58 mm - 67 mm diameter. This Stratton Slim Convertible compact mirror was crafted by the premier maker in the 1970s. The original pouch is present. The compact and pouch are in very good condition. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The catches and hinges work perfectly. The base is signed Stratton England. The compact is clean and free from any powder residue. Measures 3 1/4 inches diameter. Weighs 104 grams.
